The central thesis of this doctoral project is the effect of narrative preaching of Daniel 1-6 on a local congregation. The author researched the premise that narrative preaching is the only way to effectively preach the gospel today. He composed six sermons based on Daniel 1-6 and patterned them after the elements of narrative composition and careful exegesis of the text itself.
