Abstrakt

The goal of this project is to discover the value of a devotional writing for helping a specific group of missionaries deal with stress. This project was carried out in Jos Nigeria. The project involved the author living with and surveying the missionaries in the Jos context from January 2007 to May 2008. A devotional book was written to provide biblical reflections and an opportunity for personal prayer regarding specific stresses in the Jos context. This project evaluates the effectiveness of this devotional in helping missionaries in Nigeria deal with stress.
