- Abstract
- This project examines the relation of ministerial 'success' to marital satisfaction among clergy couples of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Three testing instruments assesed marital satisfaction while three others assessed problem-solving skills, self-esteem, and personal tendencies. The study did not confirm a positive relationship between marital satisfaction and ministerial success, but it did reveal interesting information about clergy couples as copastors of congregations.
