Abstract
  • Television exerts a tremendous influence over those who view its programming. This project offers alternate television programming from a Christian perspective for children in Arlington, Texas, by producing three pilot episodes of a children's television show. Five specific objectives are involved in this project: 1) recruiting a seven-member advisory panel which will offer ideas and suggestions for the pilot episodes; 2) designing, writing, and filming the three episodes; 3) publicizing the televising of the programs; 4) televising the episodes; and 5) evaluating the test audience reponses to the episodes.
