- Abstract
- The project was based on the thesis that rural churches play a significant role in world missions. Three main studies were included: first, a study of the size and location of churches having produced Conservative Baptist foreign missionaries; second, a survey of Conservative Baptist churches to determine the number of missionaries and other Christian workers produced by those churches; third, a six-part program to promote missionary interest in rural churches. The program was tested in five churches. The study showed that rural Conservative Baptist churches produce a significantly larger number of missionaries and other Christian workers per capita than urban churches.
