Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was the creation of an intergenerational discipleship strategy for the First Baptist Church, Atkins, Arkansas. The completion of the project required extensive research in the fields of biblical discipleship couched in the context of Atkins, First Baptist Church. The project director studied the pirnciples from Scripture, read extensively from noted authors in the field of discipleship, considered various discipleship models, consulted experts, and sought the advice and assistance of other pastors. The discipleship director assembled a strategy leadership team from among the members of the church for the purpose of crafting a strategy for the context of First Baptist Church. The strategy was completed and presented to the church in a regular business session. It was unanimously approved.
