  • The purpose of the project was to equip a selected group of college students at Calvary Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to lead youth small groups. This project used the equipping program model. The project director conducted research in the field of leading youth small groups. He selected college students and equipped them to teach youth small groups by going through the training material developed in this research project. This weekend training seminar culminated in a lab experience, which consisted of leading a youth small group. The project director then evaluated the project to determine or not it was successful.
