- Abstract
- This project aims to develop a corporate mission strategy for the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong. This overall mission strategy consists of several sub-strategies that are formulated and implemented so as to proactively develop an innovative missions and evangelism ministry for the Baptist denomination under newly established rule by the People's Republic of China during the crucial post-changeover period (1997-2005). research and analysis will be conducted to assess the needs and trends of Hong Kong baptists, as well as the strengths and resources of the Baptist Convention so as to strengthen and expand the mission work. A Baptist Missions Center is established to facilitate the missionary-sending and church-planting movement. This project is a contemporary blueprint for the expression of faith and commitment for the Chinese Baptists in Hong Kong as they enter a new ministry era in world evangelization.
