Abstract
  • This project deals with the need to adapt theological educational methods to the culture in which ministry is to take place. It is mainly a description of how leaders are trained in a church established by the EFCA mission in the northwest corner of Zaire. The last part of the study presents some suggestions to improve the teaching of theology to make it more contextual in content and methodology. This is essential if the African church is to have a relevant theology that can transform individuals as well as communities of believers to honor God within the culture.
