  • This paper will attempt to determine the appropriate response to the reality of spiritual warfare in the life of the missionary. The topic will be approached by integrating anthropology, missiology, and theology. The book of Acts provides the theological foundation. Anthropological insights evolved in Christian ministry to influence two of the foremost Christian authors on spiritual warfare, Peter Wagner and Charles Kraft. By determining how the early church responded to the presence of demonic opposition to gospel advance, as evidenced in the book of Acts, an appropriate response can the be formulated to assist in the training of missionaries.
