Revival and awakening is the biblical solution for the current spiritual deprivations of New England, especially the Housatonic Valley region. A biblical model for revival based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 is presented, along with compelling historical illustrations, and a tour of sites associated with revival and awakening in the Housatonic Valley region. Together they demonstrate that when pastors and churches set themselves to preparing their hearts for renewing, God sends it. Revival does not come on demand, but God sends it in His time, to those who have prepared their hearts for it.
