Abstrakt

This project is set forth as both a study and resource of hope in clergy. Drawn from both the theology of hope and those in the field of a psychology of hope, these resources were presented as an avenue for initiating or rekindling hope among clergy. The research methods employed were both academic and practical. The latter resource was from a compilation of the work presented at two workshops in the Western Pennsylvania Conference. Conclusions reached were as follows: Many clergy, especially those of middle age, were not conversant with the theology of hope and a general feeling of a need for hope was clearly projected.
