Abstract
  • This study of training Christians on discovering spiritual gifts, understanding the working of the Holy Spirit, and knowledge of the incarnational presence of Jesus Christ was implemented at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America, Madison, Alabama. The training on this spiritual triad was accomplished with thirty members/leaders in six sessions through the use of Bible instruction and other professional materials. Interviews, post-test, and focus groups were used to measure the effect of the training. The outcome shows that the training had an exceptional effect resulting in noticeable behavior changes that demonstrated increased interest, commitment, and participation in the ministries.
