- This project proposes to communicate self-understanding and appreciation for the history, polity, and traditions of the African Methodist Episcopal Church among members of First Community AME Church (Grand Rapids, Mich). In five sessions of structured experiences church members improve their denominational self-understanding and self-esteem through sermons and supplementary materials for group interaction.
