Abstract
  • Child sexual abuse is a serious problem in our society. Twenty to thirty per cent of the girls in our society are victims of sexual abuse. Sexual abuse interferes with the healthy development of psychological and spiritual health. The victims suffer from long-term effects as adults. Donald Winnicott's theory of object relations provides the psychological perspective. The theological perspective is taken Jurgen Moltman's understanding of the suffering God. Clinical study of victims is used to study the long-term effects and the process of healing through counseling.
