- Abstract
- This project examines whether an off-campus extension theological education program in Côte d'Ivoire, Africa, can provide an outcome equivalent to an on-campus theological education program in Lomé, Togo, Africa, as measured by students' course evaluations and students' grades. The uses the same instructors, entrance requirements, courses, and examinations in both programs. Student and instructor questionnaires were subjected to Chi-square, t-test analyses, and Aspin-Welch Unequal Variance t-test to measure felt equivalence. Extension education proves to be a viable and highly successful method of theological education in West Africa.
