  • This thesis offers a model that affirms Chinese clergywomen's call, as pioneers, not martyrs, in cross-cultural ministry. This model will assist Chinese clergywomen overcoming resistance by mutual support. Through biblical, historical, social, and theological reflections, the study reaffirms women's leadership and their cross-cultural ministry. Through case studies, the researcher compared four Chinese clergywomen's situations with two other ethnic minority clergywomen's groups. The theological basis of this project is John Wesley, Pui-lan Kwok and other Chinese feminist theologians. A survey was conducted on the acceptance of Chinese clergywomen. In conclusion, the researcher suggested ways to promote inclusiveness.
