- Abstract
- According to some theologians, the United States of America is in need of missiological attention from the perspective of the Third World. This thesis-project not only affirms this position but offers a stewardship plan to undergird such a ministry. The project asserts that black Americans whose ties are to both the First World and the Third World could best spearhead such a ministry through the church using a praxis suggested by the Home Missions Movement in America. Utilizing the objectives design method, a curriculum encompassing a stewardship plan with a global perspective was presented to and ratified by participants. Though executed in a Baptist church, the plan would be feasible with appropriate modifications for consideration by other denominations and other Third World related Christians.
