- Abstract
- This project designs and administers a training program for adults who are willing to minister to and with the homebound and nursing home members and their families of University Baptist Church. Because many ministries to this population are patronizing in nature, leave out the families, and are not intentional in training and implementation, the need was felt to develop a plan which would be more comprehensive and intentional. The primary goals of the project were the enlistment of laypersons for this ministry, the training of persons in the pastoral care of our friends, ministry to the families of their friends, the implementation and maintenance of the program, and the establishment of a task force for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating the program for possible revision.
