Abstract
  • Eight college students met once a week for ten weeks in a workshop format for the purpose of discovering their spiritual gifts. The focus of the workshop centered on the relationship of spiritual gifts to ministry and leadership responsibilities. The participants incorporated spiritual gift inventories, Bible studies, and peer affirmation in the process of discovering their spiritual gifts. The project's results concluded: spiritual gifts can be discovered in a workshop format; the participants needed one another for affirmation of their discovered gifts; and, the participants needed to authenticate their discovered gifts by utilizing them in a ministry or leadership responsibility.
