Abstract
  • The objective of this project was to measure and compare two family enrichment programs in a local church. The hypothesis stated that experientially driven curriculum would significantly enrich families to a greater degree than would educationally based curriculum. Quantitative results were measured through the Family Life Inventory (a forty-item questionnaire representing eight areas of healthy family fun ctioning). Qualitative results were gathered through written evaluations and participatory observation. Although the goal of 25 percent improvement was not achieved, the qualitative and quantitative results of this study did point to experiential family enrichment as the preferred means for strengthening families in the church.
