Abstract
  • The evangelical participant model is intended for pastors to overcome the imbalance and inclination of the former rural pastoral care aspects, and to aim at holistic pastoral care. The author researched rural conditions in Korea for the last thirty years, examining the roles of churches and clergy in the area of biblical, historical, and theological foundations. Rural pastors were interviewed. Based on these interviews, the role of the pastor was analyzed, compared, and evaluated.
