This project produces a handbook for preachers in multicultural ministries, based on studies of experienced multicultural preachers and their congregations, as well as homiletic and communication theory. Effective preaching demands knowledge of the cultures and communication styles of both preacher and community. Reliable feedback from the community is essential if the preacher is to properly assess his or her competence. The handbook offers a reflection process to assist ministers preparing to preach in multicutural settings.
