Abstract
  • The project evolved from the question: 'what is the United Pentecostal Church International doing to help working pastors deal with the dilemma of functioning in two different roles?' The action-research model was used to compile information relative to this ministerial issue. Surveys were sent to district superintendents, district presbyters, and twelve working pastors of the Oklahoma district. The purpose of the surveys was to determine what the working pastors were thinking. The hypothesis was that not much is being done to assist the working pastors in dealing with their frustrations. Therefore, there is still much to be done.
