- Abstract
- This author' thesis was that most pastors of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod would agree that Eph. 5:31f provides a clear and simple summation of God's guidance for lasting marriage and would welcome a resource that would assist them in modeling and teaching about such marriage in God's way. An electronic survey of the pastors of the MI District of the LCMS yielded resounding support for the author's thesis and led to the further conclusion that an understanding of marriage in God's way as per Eph. 5:31f helps shape an individual's entire worldview.
