Abstract
  • A historical analysis was conducted to determine the factors that led Berean Mission Inc to pursue the merger. Models of mergers from both the business and nonprofit sectors were examined to determine the necessary procedures for successful mergers. The procedures, used by Berean Mission, Inc and UFM International, were described to provide a model for mergers of mission agencies. The lessons resulted from this merger both positive and negative, are presented to enhance the model's implementation in the future.
