Abstract
  • This project seeks to demonstrate that the Bible has an overarching unity which is expressed historically, linguistically, thematically and concepturally in seven creative-redemptive acts of God. Seen together, these elements demonstrate the Bible's unifying message that God has and will finally triumph over Satan, sin and death--all matters of chaos--through the person and saving work of Jesus Christ. It is precisely because of God's work through Jesus Christ that He can and is restoring His created order and believing humanity back to His original intended purposes. Thus the Bible's diversity only manifests its rich unity in Jesus Christ.
