Abstract
  • The author desired to develop a leader's notebook that would allow laypersons to lead grief support groups within their own churches. The project is divided into three parts. The first section is a collection of seven papers that deal with theological issues that arise when ministering to those who grieve. The second section outlines a ten-week program that can be implemented by local churches to reach out to grievers. The third section contains evaluations by laypersons that studied the theological papers and by individuals who attended a ten-week Griefworks course.
