Abstract
  • The project goal was to train a selected group of church members for ministry to recently widowed senior adults. Participants were required to complete ministry visits and report on their experiences. Project sessions included testing on the material presented, discussion of the presentations, and evaluations of the individual sessions and the completed project. The church was involved through a series of sermons presenting basic material from the project. Evaluation testing of recently widowed senior adults involved in the ministry visits, as well as group participants, revealed that the objectives of the project were achieved.
