Abstract
  • Mission trips are one of the most heavily critiques practices of the church. The heaviest criticisms are levied by those interested in 'missional' church practices. This project engages in an intentional study of mission trips through the growingly influential lens of missional theology. Through a narrative analysis the report suggests that, with intentional restructuring and reframing, mission trips can contribute to the ongoing process of inviting people on both sides of the mission relationship to correspond their lives more closely with the mission of God.
