Abstract
  • This project examines the issues involved in planting a Pentecostal church in a postmodern context. After examining various forms of church community life, the author turns to Acts to discover a model that appeals to people in the postmodern context without abandoning the church's Pentecostal essence. He then defines the essence of Pentecostalism so non-essential traditions can be adjusted to enhance evangelism in the setting. The author evaluates the project with testimonies and the record that the church continues to have modest success in the postmodern setting.
