Abstrakt

This project was designed to educate the constituency of twelve selected Nazarene churches in Ohio of the importance of Christian higher education as it relates to the mission of the church. The context for this effort was Mount Vernon Nazarene College, Mount Vernon, Ohio. The program focused on the use of student singing groups to make the contact for the college with the churches. An evaluation process, including the use of survey instruments both before and after the visits, revealed both an increased awareness and commitment to Christian higher education as a result of the program's effectiveness.
