- Globalization of Christian missions: a historical study of WorldVenture's response during the period of 1989-2004
- Abstract
- The globalization of Christian missions in the last decade of the twentieth century required various adjustments and responses from established Western agencies. Utilizing historical research methodology, the author studied the response of CBInternational to the globalization of missions between 1989 and 2004. His research identified both the thinking and the resulting actions of CBInternational. Based on biblical, theological and missiological principles, an analysis of CBInternational's response is presented. The research and analysis demonstrated that CBI's response was consistent with its historical roots, biblically and theologically evangelical, and missiologically appropriate for a globalized context.
