Abstract
  • 'Missional church' is a term used widely but without common understanding. This project traces the missional conversation in its ecumenical/mainline and evangelical directions. Adopting three missional themes proposed by Alan Roxburgh, the project explores what it means to be missionally evangelical and Reformed and probes its implications for ministry in a small church setting. Utilizing a Delphi survey to determine a consensus of five pressing issues facing small church pastors in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and Aubrey Malphurs' advanced strategic planning model, the project develops a plan to implement a denominational small church leaders network.
