Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to equip selected leaders in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at the University of Central Arkansas in personal evangelism through adapting aspects of chronological Bible storying. The project director studies the worldview of the millennial generation in order to determine receptivity to varying approaches to personal evangelism. In addition, the project director researched the field of chronological Bible storying in order to identify essential themes relevant to personal evangelism training among millennials. He used that information to develop and conduct a workshop aimed at training the selected leaders in personal evangelism by using aspects of chronological Bible storying. The workshop addressed attitudes, experiences, and barriers regarding personal evangelism, the basics of the millennial worldview, the importance of Bible storying, essential themes of the Bible, and personal engagement skills. This project was evaluated by experts in the fields of ministry to millennials, chronological Bible storying, and curriculum design.
