Abstract

The project focus was a twelve-week preaching series, 'Confident Christianity: Ready to Give an Answer.' The series employed negative and positive apologetics-answering objections and building a case for the Christian worldview. The central finding was that a defense of the faith is critical in the context of an increasingly secular and humanistic environment. The outcome was to equip believers to confidently share the reality, reliance, and relevance of Jesus Christ in their sphere of influence in the evolving pluralistic landscape of Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Apologetic preaching feeds and fuels the gospel mandate initiative in the contemporary context.
