- Abstract
- This project was administered at The Assembly of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia in collaboration with Home Care by Professionals, Inc. It was designed to change attitudes toward the physically impaired from non-valuable to valuable parishioners with abilities to be used in the church. Sermons delivered on love, compassion, grace, and acceptance paralleled workshops on care to the physically impaired. This project demonstrated that holistic care to the physically impaired will help them feel a part of the church. Through services to the physically impaired and participation by them, this model was shown to be effective.
