Abstract
  • This doctoral project is an instruction manual with training materials to facilitate the pastoral care of Christian workers and missionaries working in remote locations, where access to such fellowship and care-giving ministries is rare or nonexistent. The care-giving ministries proposed by this project are unique in that it is not accomplished by professionals, but by the missionaries themselves, by lay facilitators selected and trained for the task, and that it is to be carried out on the mission field where missionaries work, and not in the home country. Evaluations by professionals and field testing have proved its value.
