Abstract
  • This study examines: 1) the relationship of the executive pastor's spiritual walk with his or her effectiveness in the executive pastor role as shepherd, 2) specifically how this is modeled and 3) how modeling spiritual disciplines and care influences resultant behavior of the staff ministry team. This study presents findings from surveys conducted with twenty churches from the Baptist General Conference with worship attendance of 1,000+ and having the role of executive pastor.
