Abstract
  • Christian medical students and residents must learn basic truths if they are to cultivate a biblical mindset in medical ethics. Medical education does not provide this information. The author's purpose is to begin to address this lack by investigating and teaching biblical truths of the imago Dei. The research project is rooted in inductive Bible study. It is designed as an inquiry into the meaning of the specific imago texts as well as other biblical texts relevant to medical ethics. This project helps stimulate students and residents to think biblically about medical ethics.
