Abstract
  • This thesis project explores the spirituality of Don Bosco in crafting a spiritual formation plan for the Salesian missionaries who are ministering to the Nyishis in West Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast India. The diminishing zeal and the passion of the Salesian missionaries prompt me to ask the question 'can the Salesians be more spiritual and sensitive to the Nyishis and their tribal culture so as to incarnate Don Bosco's spirituality and charism in the communities they minister?' The purpose of this project is to invite the missionaries to be radically different as well as creatively engaging in their life and apostolate since they are influential for the catechists in the Nyishi community.
