Abstract
  • Within the last two decades, short-term missions (STM) have expanded from a small-scale endeavor of local congregations to a multi-million-dollar industry. The popularity of STM has increased to the point where it has become a major trend in missions. This study examines and analyzes the effects of North American STM to Mexico from the perspective of Mexican pastors (emic perspective), providing an avenue for the Mexican pastors to give feedback to the North American STM teams. Quantitative and qualitative data were gathered and interpreted to evaluate the effectiveness of STM for future improvement and better stewardship.
