  • The Twelve Steps, made popular by Alcoholic Anonymous groups, when coupled with John Wesley's understanding of the 'way of salvation' as outlined in the Beatitudes make an effective combination to help people find a faith that works. Through a series of twelve sermons and a reflection group, the author offered this combination to his congregations as one process that would enable them to move toward the recovery of the image of themselves that God had in mind at creation. An evaluation of this process concludes the project.
