- The purpose of this project was to develop a multifaceted strategy for new member orientation at Eastwood Baptist Church, Monroeville, Alabama. The project director analyzed new member assimilation data at Eastwood Baptist Church from 2009 until 2012 and discovered a low percentage of new member assimilation. The project director researched the fields of new member assimilation and strategy development along with the biblical basis of church membership. After the research segment the project director led Eastwood Baptist Church to create a New Member Orientation Committee to assist in developing a new member orientation strategy. The project director trained the New Member Orientation Committee to understand the basics of new member orientation and to develop a strategy to improve assimilation. The project director and New Member Orientation Committee developed a new member orientation strategy and concluded the project by presenting the strategy to the members of Eastwood Baptist Church, Monroeville, Alabama.
