Abstract
  • The purpose of the project is to challenge the members of Korean Baptist Church of San Jose to engage in effective evangelism through a variety of methods, such as experiential learning and missions-oriented team trainings, with an emphasis on communication. A carefully selected group of 15 members was trained in order that they understand the biblical mandate of evangelism and become active evangelists. The doctrinal studies covered 4 weeks followed by 6-weeks of actual evangelism training. Over the course of the project, the project director stressed the importance of the Great Commission, led powerful evangelism training whilestressing the missional aspects of the church. The evangelism teams were formed consisting of 2-3 individuals. The team members were able to compliment one another and 'pushed' effective evangelism to take place.
