  • This examination of Christian ministry in relationship to the poor explores traditional forms of ministry and new forms of ministry, relying on biblical resources and World Council of Churches literature (CCPD). Although it is a controversial subject, the research reveals the need in the Christian community for solidarity with the poor...for a more simple life-style...perhaps even a life of voluntary poverty. The poor must liberate themselves and the church's mission in this process is alignment with the poor.
