Abstrakt

Lack of numerical and spiritual growth in church membership has been the concern of several officers who formerly belonged to the Full Truth Church of God Deliverance Centre. This project focuses on the use of skilled efforts and varying strategies employed by church officers of Compassionate Christian Ministries, a new church, to encourage growth in membership, deepening commitment, spiritual maturity and discipleship. An action research program was designed for officers of the church. The program incorporated theoretical aspects as well as practical examples. Rick Warren's Purpose driven church and other sources were used to assist with the program.
