Abstrait

This project sets forth a discipleship process based on 2 Peter 1 for University Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas. The focus of the research included an exegesis of 2 Peter 1 (included in Chapter 2) and historical methods of discipleship (included in Chapter 3). Chapter 4 of the project describes the fifteen-week project that was used to teach the biblical and historical material, leading to the following conclusion: 2 Peter 1 provides an essential framework for discipleship as taught in the home in conjunction with instruction in the local church. Chapter 5 provides the author's evaluation.
