Abstract
  • Large numbers of pastors are forced out or pressured to leave their church ministry. This project determined the most significant issues that pastors and families of forced exits need to address after they leave their church and during the time of transition. This project used interviews and questionnaires of leaders of ministries who work regularly with pastors of forced exits. Ten issues were identified as being the most important issues for pastors of forced exits to address. A practical study guide for pastors was also developed using the information from the research.
