- Abstract
- This project enlists and guides members of the Franklin Congregational Church (Franklin, Conn) in an informal process of shared prayer, drawing on experiences in other settings and traditions, in order to experience God's presence, develop a discipline of prayer and connections among participants, and build a foundation for the work and worship of the church. Shared prayers enrich the faith journeys of individuals, strengthen the church's corporate life and mission, and through intercession move the church's focus outward toward ministry in the world.
